Thank you very much for raising the question about missing record of Jesus' youth, the so called missing years of Jesus. (between 12-29 years old), How come Bible has no record about those missing years? ( Right picture: Jesus working as a carpenter)
I have dug out the following paragraphs from website and shared with you. However, I do have more insight after I sent this link and a few paragraphs to you. Please read on.
Other than Luke 2:41-52, the Bible does not tell us anything about Jesus’ youth. From this incident we do know certain things about Jesus’ childhood. First, He was the son of parents*who were devout in their religious observances. As required by their faith, Joseph and Mary made the yearly pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover. In addition, they brought their 12-year-old son to celebrate His first Feast in preparation for His bar mitzvah at age 13, when Jewish boys commemorate their passage into adulthood. Here we see a typical boy in a typical family of that day.
From this incident to His baptism at age 30, all we know of Jesus’ youth was that He left Jerusalem and returned to Nazareth with His parents and “was obedient to them”Luke 2:51. He fulfilled His duty to His earthly parents in submission to the 5th commandment, an essential part of the perfect obedience to the law of Moses which He rendered on our behalf. Beyond that, all we know is that “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52).
(*While we believe it is accurate to describe Joseph and Mary as Jesus' parents, it is very important to remember that Mary was Jesus' biological mother with Joseph being Jesus' adoptive father.)
I think I have more new insight after I sent out above excerpt to you and like to share with you below.
Well, it is possible that Luke the physician might have interviewed Mary to find out Jesus' youth stories.
So imagine in that interview,
Luke asked Mary, " Is Jesus a good boy when He was growing up?"
Luke asked Mary, " Is Jesus a good boy when He was growing up?"
Mary:" Yes, He was a very obedient son and he is such a good boy. Everyone who knows him praises him a lot. They think I was so lucky to have such a modal son!" ,
After saying that, all of a sudden, Mary remembered something and said:
" Wait a minute, I do remember one incident Jesus seemed very rebellious against his parents like a teenager although he was still preteen, 12 yrs old , He didn't follow us home but stayed behind in the Temple at Jerusalem, we assumed he was with other boys among our groups going home, when we found he was not among us, we were so panic and went back all the way to Jerusalem Temple to find him there. Can you imagine that it took us 3 days to finally found him!We still was at a loss after his explanation why he stayed behind. However, now I totally understand Him, after all, He has to care about His Father's business and normally liked to stay at His Father's house--the Temple at Jerusalem ! His Father is our Creator God, our Heavenly Father too"
Thus, Mary told Luke the most outstanding and shocking incident of Jesus' youth. Any parents who had experienced losing the track of a child in a mall or a camping ground...etc. can identify the anxiety and panic of looking for a missing child for hours let alone looking for that missing child for 3 days. That incident would stay in the child's parents' memory forever. Of course in this youth incident, Jesus was very mission oriented already.

So Mary would tell this incident to Luke and he recorded down in Bible for us.
(Or Mary couldn't help but tell others about this painful experience and Luke heard about it and investigated it carefully. )Then Luke summed up Jesus' youth as “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52)
So Jesus' youth life, only this incident stood out to be contrary to his obedient childhood. Isn't that good enough for us to know one such extraordinary incident? And Luke didn't make up other miraculous stories, such as child Jesus got angry and killed other kids with his godly power as other Gnostic writings would embellish and tell us lots of make up stories out of their speculations and imagination. In a word, Jesus didn't do miracles for Himself, for His earthly family but only for God's kingdom and for others' benefits after His baptism, the kick off of His earthly ministry. ( Most likely, His adopted father Joseph didn't become rich but was a poor carpenter all his life. Back then, carpenters didn't earn much money.)
Dear SS, may I beg you to read Luke 1 - 2 and think carefully, "Are these chapters the results of Luke himself having interviewed Mary herself? " ( Only Mary in her 1st hand experience ( and Joseph in his 2nd hand) would have known the virgin birth of Jesus; of course, the Holy Spirit could have revealed it to Luke, so he could know that unique intimate fact of virgin birth. ) Luke is also the only Gospel writer who had investigated and recorded the miraculous birth of John the Baptist, the forerunner of Jesus. ( John the Baptist's mom Elizabeth was very old and barren at the time angel Gabriel announced the coming of John the Baptist to her husband Zacharias who by lot served as the priest to burn the incense in the temple.) Because of his unbelief, Zacharias became dumb until he named John the Baptist "John", after John's birth; Zacharias' dumbness was a public event eye- witnessed by many contemporary Jews who waited outside.)

Thus, Luke the physician has meticulously investigated everything from beginning, from eyewitnesses ...So the introduction of Book of Luke started with
"Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things Can
accomplished among us,2 just as they were handed down to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word, 3 it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, most excellent Theophilus; 4 so that you may know the exact truth about the things you have been taught.

Below is another incident that Mary was bewildered and amazed at the things said about her baby boy Jesus at that time...and she was blessed by old Simeon with such a strange blessing that her heart, her soul will be pierced in the end--predicting to the crucifixion of Jesus. ( these also show us that Mary herself is not a Goddess.)
Luke 2:33-35 And His( Jesus' adopted) father and mother were amazed at the things which were being said about Him. 34 And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is appointed for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and for a sign to be opposed— 35 and a sword will pierce even your own soul—to the end that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.”
In conclusion, we just need to trust that God has revealed enough history of Jesus' childhood and young years. We don't need to speculate further with an itchy ears.

New Testament gap
Following the accounts of Jesus' young life, there is a gap of about 18 years in his story in the New Testament. Other than the generic statement that after he was 12 years old (Luke 2:42) Jesus "advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52), possibly the general statement in Hebrews 5:8 that "he learned obedience from the things which he suffered", and also the reference to Jesus in Mark 6:3 ("Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon?"), which Christians have generally taken as an indication of Jesus's profession before the age of 30, the New Testament has no other details regarding the gap. The tone of the passage leading to the question "Is not this the carpenter?" suggests familiarity with Jesus in the area, reinforcing that he had been generally seen as a carpenter in the gospel account before the start of his ministry.Matthew 13:55 poses the question as "Is not this the carpenter's son?" suggesting that the profession tektōn had been a family business and Jesus was engaged in it before starting his preaching and ministry in the gospel accounts. While Christian tradition suggests that Jesus simply lived in Galilee during that period, modern scholarship holds that there is little historical information to determine what happened during those years.
The ages of 12 and 30, the approximate ages at either end of the unknown years, have some significance in Judaism of the Second Temple period: 12 is the age of the bar mitzvah, the age of secular maturity, and 30 the age of readiness for the priesthood, although Jesus was not of the tribe of Levi.

- Did Jesus go to India?
(note: Luke 1: 18 Zacharias said to the angel, “How will I know this for certain? For I am an old man and my wife is advanced in [n]years.” 19 The angel answered and said to him, “I am Gabriel, who [o]stands in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news. 20 And behold, you shall be silent and unable to speak until the day when these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their proper time.”
21 The people were waiting for Zacharias, and were wondering at his delay in the temple. 22 But when he came out, he was unable to speak to them; and they realized that he had seen a vision in the temple; and he kept [p]making signs to them, and remained mute. 23 When the days of his priestly service were ended, he went back home...
